New Acting Instructor
The It Factor Theatre Academy would like to welcome it's newest Instructor, Jeff Skowron.  We are truly blessed to have an actor and writer as talented and accomplished as Jeff.  Scene study and on-camera classes with Jeff begin in February.

Jeff Skowron plays ‘Greg Mondonski’ in GREG AND DONNY, a single camera, scripted comedy about two friends who grew up and live in a small town in Western PA. Created, written by and starring Skowron and Matt Yeager, GREG AND DONNY won IFC's 'Out of the Box' award at the New York Television Festival. The award is given to the most innovative or genre-expanding pilot in competition. The pilot episode was directed and produced by Troy Miller.

As an actor, Jeff played ‘Ryan’ on the hit web series THE BURG, which was one of the first breakout scripted series on the internet, with the final episode directed by Peter Sollett (NICK AND NORA’S INFINITE PLAYLIST).

Feature credits include: NEW YORK CITY SERENADE (directed by Frank Whaley and Official Selection of Toronto International Film Festival) THE NARROWS (with Kevin Zegers), HOW TO SEDUCE DIFFICULT WOMEN, THE GOOD SHEPHERD (directed by Robert DeNiro), PREMIUM, CHAPTER 7, and A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS (with Robert Downey Jr).

Other television guest credits include: NCIS, LAW AND ORDER, LAW AND ORDER CI, LAW AND ORDER SVU and MARY AND RHODA for ABC.

Classically trained with extensive theater credits at the nation’s most prestigious theaters, Jeff also played leading roles in the Broadway productions of ENRON, THE LION KING, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, HIGH SOCIETY and HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS. Skowron also created the role of ‘Chris Bell’ opposite Hugh Jackman in THE BOY FROM OZ.

Most recently, Jeff played “Dr. Chilton” in the hit LosAngeles premiere of SILENCE! The Musical.
